Inventive products and enhanced services announced by Albion at Euroshop 2008
Inventive additions to core component ranges, together with enhanced product information and ordering possibilities, were among the central attractions of the Albion stand at Euroshop 2008 (Hall 3, Stand F72).
As one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of high quality display systems for the retail, corporate and public sectors, Albion consistently expands and enhances its choice of cable and rod display components and sign fixing solutions to reflect design trends and maintain its position at the forefront of this vigorous market.
New components joining the Sign Connections range of wall-mounted sign fixings were among those featured on the stand and included ancillary connectors for 4-way and 2-way panels, as well as double supports that enable panels to be mounted one in front of the other, spaced by10 or 20mm.
Albion has also supplemented its 10mm rod display range with components reflecting the choice already available in the companion 6mm rod system. These include a top grip hanging support, offering a new means of hanging signs and a twin through-hole panel support. In common with all of Albion’s display components, the newcomers are available in a choice of stylish finishes.
Distributors and other trade partners working with Albion and its products were able to see for the first time the new Display Systems sample case when they visited the stand. This versatile helping hand for business development has been carefully designed to present a comprehensive selection of components and applications examples from the Albion cable, rod and acrylic pocket ranges.
Euroshop was also the launch venue for the latest edition of Albion’s Display Systems Range and Technical Guide, which has been revised and re-designed to present buyers and users with a comprehensive reference for ordering and installing the company’s various display systems.
Example of Albion's bespoke capabilitues were on show at Euroshop, including a freestanding store directory unit finished in high gloss black, constructed of a fusion of compatible materials including mirror polished stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium alloy and acrylic. An elegant internal hanging sign was also featured on the stand, consisting of mirror acrylic inserted between two black acrylic face panels and suspended with a standard Albion 1.5mm cable kit.
Intriguing possibilities for combining dynamic and static display media as an integrated focal point were highlighted on the stand using a flash card driven 20” LCD display, surrounded by eight acrylic poster pockets, all mounted using 10mm rod components. A number of similar window displays have already been installed by Albion in retail environments.
The company also offers mounting solutions for LCD and plasma displays from its System-AV range of audio-visual support equipment. This was demonstrated on the stand with a 42” plasma screen, mounted on a PT11 freestanding trolley.
Another major Albion product group of interest to the retail sector is its Pathfinder queuing systems range, examples from which were on show at Euroshop. Pathfinder products include Flexibarriers (belt barriers), fixed beam systems and rope stands all designed and manufactured in the UK by Albion to offer high standards of public safety.
